Q: Is it real ice or the plastic ice?
A: it is real ice
Q: How much are Tickets?
A Tickets are £8 for adults £7 for Children 0- 14, This includes people aged 14
Bobby Seal’s are £4 each to hire
Q: Gala Nights
The Basingstoke Ice Skating Club Showteam will be performing to music from Frozen, Shrek the Musical as well as to festive/chart music.
You will then have the opportunity to skate amongst the characters for the remainder of the session.
All proceeds above the usual skating price (ie £2 or £3 per person) will be dontaed to the Sailsbury Hopice.
The £10 charge is for adults and children.
Q: How early should i arrive?
A: if you have already booked tickets we are recommending that you are at the Wilton shopping village 15 mins before your skate time and you should be at the skate exchange 10 mins before.
Q: Can i buy tickets on the day?
A: Yes there are tickets kept back for walk up, we would recommend that you arrive at least 30 mins before the session starts.
Q: What is a Bobby Seal?
A: A Bobby Seal is a skate Aid for small Children, they can either sit on it and be pushed or use it to help stand up, we only have 10 available per session
Q My Young Child isn’t use to skating what is your smallest size ?
A: We have Bobby Skates, which are a once size fits all skate with 2 blades , that will go over the child’s shoes to help with balance.
Q: Is skate hire included in the ticket price?
A: Yes it is
Q: How Long will a session last?
A: a session on the ice will last 40 mins plus 20 mins skate change time( if you are a large group please arrive early to the skate exchange)
Q: What if it rains?
A: Our ice rink will be covered by a marquee top so you will be able to skate when it rains.
Q: Disabled access:
Wheelchairs are welcome on the rink.
A registered disabled guest is entitled to one free carer when purchasing a relevant full price ticket. Documentation will need to be presented on arrival (e.g. blue/orange badge).
